Our Story
Roocrofts is named in honour of my wonderful grandparents, Stan and Barbara, who many of you will likely know. They have been the steady foundation of our large family, offering unwavering support to us all. Their values inspired me to create an agency built on integrity, care, and lasting relationships.
I have worked in estate agency for over twenty years, and in that time I have helped thousands of homeowners move forward.
My journey began at 17 when I was a finalist in the Young Estate Agent of the Year back in 2004, then led me to manage two branches for a large independent firm, and later to open my own agency in 2009. Building my previous business into a market-leading, award-winning company was both challenging and rewarding.
After selling up, I took five years out to work from home while raising my son, which gave me a new perspective and invaluable time with family.
Even during my break, I remained passionate about property, working with agents nationwide on marketing campaigns, copywriting, and sales progression.
Now, I am excited to combine everything I have learned to offer exemplary estate agency services to the Yorkshire Dales community.
A little about me
I am a wife and a mother, and family is at the heart of everything I do. I am an avid reader and studied English Literature while working from home. I am also writing a novel set in the Dales, although, as anyone who has tried to write will know, it is a long-term project.
I enjoy running and completed my first marathon in 2025. I also love skiing and mountain biking. My family and I often travel around the UK in our camper van to explore beautiful scenery, discover new places and make wonderful memories together.
